A Brief Overview of Cake Varieties
At Madeleines, we provide a variety of cake flavors to suit your wedding cake needs. All cakes are made from scratch. We never use a mix.
This is a selection of our cake flavors - just ask if you have another favorite.
White genoise - Rich, classic French sponge cake.
Chocolate genoise - Rich, classic French sponge cake, with a rich chocolate flavor.
Vanilla - A vanilla variation of our rich genoise.
Marble - a white and chocolate marbled genoise variation.
Carrot - Old-style French carrot cake with a bigger spice and carrot flavor than an American-style cake.
Golden Almond - Made from fresh almonds, freshly ground just before the cake is made with the delicate aroma and flavor of the nuts. Naturally moist.
Lemon - Lemon and then some! A clean, fresh, lemon flavor, in a classic genoise.
Spice - Extremely moist, big-flavored spice cake...
Delectable fillings including raspberry preserves, apricot, chocolate mousse, lemon cream, raspberry cream, cholate truffle, and more.
Our signature buttercreams are made from traditional recipes. Flavors include vanilla, chocolate, lemon, raspberry and more. Know your buttercreams...made with fresh butter, a true buttercream is never bright white and should not cling to the tongue.
